- Get a filing-ready draft in minutes — file it yourself or hand it to a USPTO attorney partner
- Never be the last to know — alerts by app, text, and email the moment a watched mark or patent changes

Describe the outcome. The agent does the rest.
No TEAS field maps, no fee schedules, no copy-paste. One plain-English brief turns into clearance, a drafted application, and a watch.
You describe the outcome
“Clear ORBIT in class 009, draft it, and watch it for conflicts.”
The agent researches and drafts
Twelve-source clearance, a complete application draft, and a watch — grounded in live USPTO data.
You file, your way
Review the draft, then self-file — Desktop fills the USPTO forms in your Chrome — or use an attorney partner. You sign and submit.

Everything the agent handles end to end
Research, clearance, drafting, monitoring, and dossiers — scoped to your account, nothing more.
Research and drafting
An agent loop plans and carries out clearance, application drafts, and office action responses.
Twelve-source clearance
Federal, state, web, social, domains, marketplaces, courts, and 200+ international offices.
Portfolio watching
Monitors every mark and patent you track. Alerts by app, text, and email when something changes.
Filing-ready drafts
Every field drafted, reviewable, editable, and exportable. Office action responses included.
Specimen capture
The agent drives a real browser session to grab screenshots and listings for your application.
File your way
Self-file with the USPTO or hand the draft to a partner attorney for a flat fee.
One brief. A filing-ready draft.
Watch how a plain-English request becomes clearance, a drafted application, and a watch — in the same workspace you’ll use.
Your IP workspace, now in the terminal and your AI tools
Use MarkDocket directly from a shell, call it from your servers, or connect the same catalog-backed capabilities to the AI client where you already work.
Command line
Search USPTO records, review pushed code, manage portfolios, and author automations. Add --json to any command for scripts.
MCP server
Give Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT structured MarkDocket tools, authenticated and scoped to the user who connects.
Versioned tool API
Use personal read-only or read/write keys for backend scripts, CI, and server integrations that call the same catalog.
Install the latest @markdocket/cli package. The current release is 0.2.2, and it contains both the command-line client and the local stdio MCP server.
npm install --global @markdocket/climarkdocket login
markdocket setup cursor --installBrowser login supports Google, password, and 2FA. The MCP process reads your private CLI config, so no token belongs in Cursor or Claude configuration.
Frontier AI
Pick the frontier model behind every run
The MarkDocket agent works out of the box on a managed frontier model — and every automation can switch to the provider your firm already trusts.
Managed by default
Every chat and automation runs on a managed frontier model through the AI Gateway — no setup.
Bring your own key
Point any automation at your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or eight other provider accounts.

Per-model rates are published on this page — every statement shows exactly which model ran.

Built for teams who’d rather describe than file
“I built MarkDocket to solve my own problem — going from zero to one without hundreds of thousands for an attorney, but still needing to protect the brand I was building. It worked well enough to become a product, built alongside the IP industry.”
